About Research Development
Research Development is part of the Office for Research. We support all disciplines and schools in the pursuit of funding. We are happy to offer advice for any proposal and answer questions about any opportunity.
For large or complex interdisciplinary proposals or those of strategic importance to Northwestern University, we provide additional proposal development support during the entire pre-award timeline – from identifying the funding call to team formation assistance and project management throughout the proposal submission period. Our offerings include:
- Curation and dissemination of emerging federal funding priorities
- Management of the limited submission process
- Proposal development support for large or complex interdisciplinary projects
- Development of templates and guidance for nontechnical proposal components
- Facilitation of interdisciplinary collaborations across Northwestern and with experts throughout the region and country
